What is posted

Dallas City Plan Commission and Fort Worth City Plan Commission both have hearings on Thursday, October 8, 2026. These lines are taken from the posted agendas. They are not commission votes, and they are not final outcomes.

AgendaWire already covered two other cases on this same Dallas docket in the week of October 5 to 9: Z-26-000184 and Z-26-000143. This brief does not repeat those cases. It adds one Dallas zoning application from the same agenda, plus one new Fort Worth plan commission case.

Fort Worth, October 8

The Fort Worth City Plan Commission public hearing is at 9:00 a.m. CT in the City Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. The posted agenda uses that time and room. It does not mark the meeting canceled.

New case FS-26-189 is a replat of Lot 3, Block 1, Harmon-Heritage Addition, recorded as Instrument Number D224222199 in the Tarrant County plat records. The agenda title prints the lots as "Lots 3R1, 3R2 and 3R2, Block 1." The general location is south and east of Heritage Trace Parkway and west of Harmon Road, in Council District 8. The applicant listed on the agenda is HKS Civil.

The posted recommendation has two parts. First, approval of a waiver to Section 31-106(a)(8) of the Subdivision Ordinance, to waive the requirement that an industrial development be served by a cul-de-sac. Second, conditional approval of the final plat upon meeting the platting comments in the staff report. That language is the recommendation printed on the agenda, not a vote.

Dallas, October 8

The October 8 agenda for the Dallas City Plan Commission lists a briefing at 10:30 a.m. and a public hearing at 12:30 p.m. CT. The place on that agenda is Council Chambers, 6th Floor, 1500 Marilla Street, Dallas, Texas 75201. The agenda does not mark the meeting canceled.

The City Plan and Zoning Commission meetings page lists the next meeting as 10/08/2026 at 9:00 a.m., at Council Chambers, 6th Floor, 1500 Marilla St, Dallas, TX 75212. The page and the agenda do not agree on the clock time or the ZIP code. Use the agenda for the hearing times.

Item 26-3204A, case Z-26-000046, is an application for R-10(A) Single Family District on property zoned A(A) Agricultural District, between Plainview Drive and Sparrow Lane, east of Dowdy Ferry Road. The agenda lists Council District 8, applicants Dulce Figueroa and Mike Nieto, and planner Hema Sharma. The staff recommendation printed on the agenda is approval. That is not a commission decision.
